A new and less ambitious version of a
public-information portal service tested in Danish Infoville
site Ringsted will now be offered for free to Danish local authorities.
The service features central updates on all information, which
is not specific to the local authorities. Local authorities
will pay according to the number of visitors, making the offer
especially attractive to small authorities with relatively few
users and little ability to invest in their own platform. The
service is developed by INFOVILLE-partner National Association
of Local Authorities publishing department, and will be hosted
and distributed by the IT-company Kommunedata.
